Couples Counseling
As human beings, we are biologically wired to connect with one another. We are emotionally attached to and dependent on our partners in much the same way as a child is dependent on a parent for nurturing, soothing and protection. It is essential to our health and well-being that we learn how to develop and sustain healthy relationships with our partners. Couples’ dynamics require a different kind of vigilance and a full understanding of how they work. I can help identify where you and your partner’s “ danger zones” are and equip you with skills to overcome them. My approach goes beyond just learning to communicate and “ fight fair.” We will work together to increase your relationship satisfaction, help you heal from past hurts and create the relationship you want.
