Family Counseling
The definition of family is flexible and fluid. Family therapy can help modern families successfully work through life transitions such as marriage, divorce, death, or other lifestyle changes that might arise. I may work with one dyad within a larger family system, or the entire family itself – depending on your family’s needs. Through psychotherapy, families can learn how to communicate more effectively and deepen emotional connections with one another.
I also propose bringing mindfulness-based strategies such as meditation into the family therapy process in order to strengthen bonds, enhance insight within the family dynamics, and create a safe container for effective communication.
