Guidance as the Catalyst
“Veronica helped me immensely with getting through a serious bout of depression and overcoming issues of substance abuse related to a traumatic incident that occurred in my teen years. My sessions with her were incredibly transformative because they allowed me to face my issues in a safe space, as well as make difficult decisions essential to my healing process. Veronica showed me how to channel my curiosity surrounding spirituality and self-discovery into more beneficial outlets such as yoga and meditation – practices that remain a major part of my life today. Her guidance was the catalyst for much of the positive change that has come about in my life.”

Life is Lovely; Take a Step Forward in Yours
“Throughout life, all of us encounter ups and downs, twists and turns. Points in this wild journey we aren’t sure how to react. I first came to Ms. Veronica Foster after a very deep and dark depression that seemed to have sprung from nothing; although it was everything and I couldn’t escape my own mind. I had never seen a therapist and expected a very generic therapist kind of setting. When I walked in for the first time though, I was greeted with joy and a warm smile; something I wasn’t expecting. Veronica is someone who talked with me more than just a therapist. At no point did it seem as if I was there as a ‘patient’, but rather as a friend. We’d talk about things other than just the dark thoughts, which in turn changed those thoughts right around and helped me deal with everything in a way I didn’t know could exist. Over the year I saw Ms. Foster; my mood, my view of the world, and most importantly my life changed.
To anyone going through life with thoughts you can’t wrap your head around or just living a life you wish to improve…
Life is Lovely; take a step forward in yours.”

A Family’s Transformation
“Veronica is a gifted therapist and an exceptional person. Our entire family was in a constant and extreme state of stress due to my daughter’s drug use, erratic behavior, frequent disappearances, lack of communication, emotional outbursts, poor choices of friends, truancy, and stealing (cash, credit cards, even bank transfers). Veronica addressed this plethora of issues and turned them all around in a mere 5 months. My daughter was effervescent, social, and very academic-on the honor roll every semester, and taking 3 AP courses, when suddenly, almost overnight, she refused to go to school and was diagnosed first with anxiety and later, depression. We didn’t recognize her- she was a shadow of her former self. At her lowest point, when she was seriously hooked on xanax, she slept for 20 straight hours, and I checked on her hourly to be sure she was still breathing. Desperate to get help, we ran the gamut of mental health professionals- Stanford, PAMF, private therapists that charged $300/ hour, and more- but it was only Veronica who was able to connect and really help her- not just my daughter, but also the whole family. From the very first meeting, my daughter adored her. She reported that she was the smartest person she had ever met (tied with one of her teachers) and the nicest. She doesn’t judge, she maintains boundaries and she is wise beyond words. She is a consummate professional and her communication is excellent. Working with Veronica, my daughter’s self-esteem has grown exponentially and her decisions very sound. Veronica really may have saved her life and we are deeply grateful. I cannot recommend her more highly.”

Ideal Therapist
“Who is your ideal therapist? This should be the question on your mind before even looking into hiring one. An ideal therapist is someone who is caring, authentic, insightful, trustworthy and grounded. Without knowing it my ideal therapist was sitting right in front of me the first time I stepped into her office. My parents had hired Veronica and although I was very resistant to the idea, I went in because I really had no other choice. Sitting in her office I immediately felt at ease. Greeted with a relaxed tone, free of judgment. I knew she was someone who I could be honest with and that is why our sessions were so helpful. No matter how horrible my situation got she would listen calmly and offer helpful insight. I never felt judged or unsafe. She gave me detailed information about the mistakes I’d make with helpful suggestions to solve the core issues. She introduced me to mindfulness and meditation, a practice that transformed me into the person I am today. When my parents decided I no longer needed her she kept in touch. I would call her whenever I was feeling alone or lost and she’d point me in the right direction. Whenever someone around me was troubled I’d recommend him or her to Veronica because I knew she would be someone who’d listen and not judge. I’m in LA now pursuing my dreams with all the skills I need to continue living a happy life. If I hadn’t gone to see her years back I know I wouldn’t be where I am today. There is no doubt in my mind that Veronica is the ideal therapist and I highly recommend her.”
